FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We would love for you to be our guest at Harvest Church on a Sunday morning very soon! Making a first time visit to a church can be a little overwhelming. We know that you may have a ton of questions regarding your visit, from kids ministries to attire. Our goal is to create a worship environment that your whole family will enjoy from the moment you pull up. We love meeting first time guests and look forward to seeing you this Sunday!

We are helping people COME to Christ, CONNECT with other believers, CULTIVATE their faith, and COMMISSION them to walk into their "more."

Q: This is my first time to visit so what do I do?

A: As you pull onto the parking lot the best place to park is in the west parking lot. The front of the building actually faces away from the road so you will enter the building from the north. When you walk in you will be greeted by a Greeting Team Member. Let them know this is your first time and they will pass you to one of our Host Team Members. If you have children we will help you get them checked in to Harvest Kids. They will show you where the bathrooms are and answer any question you have. After you get your children settled into Harvest Kids make sure you stop back in the lobby to do a couple of things; get a cup of coffee and stop by the Connect Center to fill out a guest card. Once you finish filling out the guest card we have a FREE gift just as a small way to say thank you for your visit. Once you have filled out your guest card our Host Team Member will help you find a seat where you feel comfortable.

Q: What are your core values?

A: Harvest Church is built on a set of 8 core values that make us WHO WE ARE. Everything we do and say will be filtered and held accountable through these core values.

Fun- We are here for the PARTY! We value fun and don't take ourselves too seriously.

(Proverbs 15:13)

Change- We will change the methods, never the message. (Acts 2:6)

Community- We live in circles not rows. (Acts 2:42)

Generosity- We will live generously with our time, our talents, and  with our treasure.

(2 Corinthians 9:6-7)

Honor- We honor everyone, everywhere, every time. (1 Samuel 2:30)

Passion- We passionately pray, worship, and pursue our “MORE.” (2 Corinthians 9:2)

Serve- We get to serve our church, our community, and our world. (Acts 1:8)

Unity- We each do our part to keep unity in our speech, in our actions, and in our attitudes.

(Psalms 133)

Q: What type of dress attire should we be prepared for?

A: Our staff and team members will all be dressed casual. Dress comfortably!

Q: Do you have ministries for my kids? Will they be safe? What ages?

A: Yes! Bring all your kids. We love children at HC. Harvest Kids is for children birth-5th grade. On Sundays we have trained kids workers who are background checked and that have prepared environments for your children. Our nursery, pre-K, and elementary environments are FUN, SAFE, and ENGAGING for children. We want them to leave learning about the Bible and desiring to come back for more!

Q: I have teenagers. What do you have for them?

A: We have an awesome youth worship experience on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:15pm. There are pre and post service activities as well as worship, teaching and Circles (small groups). Teenagers sit with their parents on Sundays, but we do offer a pre teen class for students 11 & 12 yrs old. We also have opportunities for teenagers to serve. Harvest Students are for students 11yrs-12th grade

Q: How long do your worship experiences last?

A: From start to finish they are about 75 minutes. However, folks love to show up early and hang out with other people.

Q: What is the music like?

A: Our music is high-energy and upbeat. We have a full band with drums, electric guitars, bass, piano and skilled singers. We sing songs that you would be accustomed to hearing on Christian radio as well as from the top artists in Christian worship. We sing songs from People & Songs, Elevation Worship, Passion, Bethel, Mosaic MSC, Jesus Culture, just to name a few.
