We are excited to be able to serve Sand Spring on June 4th from 9am-12pm. We have partnered with the SS Schools, SSCS, & SS Parks Department to provide different serve projects around SS. We will start at the church at 8:30am for a Team Huddle and after that head to the serve projects and CRUSH IT! Below is a brief description of each project. We GET to serve or church, our COMMUNITY and our world!
Serve Projects:
- Charles Page High School- Pick up trash around campus
- Anderson Elementary- Move bleachers; this will involve digging holes and medium to heavy lifting
- Anderson Elementary- Work on flowerbeds; this will involve pulling weeds, shoveling, raking, and other "gardening" things. Sand Springs Community Services- Pass out flyers; this will involve walking door to door and passing out flyers with information about SSCS.
- Sand Springs Community Services- Care bags for Kirkwood Senior Complex residents; this will start in the fellowship hall by packing small care bags for the residents and delivering them. Good for someone who struggles with manual labor.
- The Spring Women & Children Shelter- Outside projects; this involves picking up trash, shoveling, raking, pulling weeds, and other "gardening" things.
- The Spring Women & Children Shelter- Indoor organization; this is good for someone who is limited to light lifting.
- Case Community Park- Plant small trees at the entrance of the park; this involves shoveling, pulling weeds, raking, and other "gardening" things.
